Our vision is to be recognised locally, nationally and internationally as an orchestra renowned for excellence, innovation and accessibility.

Our mission is to entertain, educate and engage. We connect with our audiences, commission new works and create space for all: players, staff, trustees, volunteers, students and audiences, to be their best and enjoy the experience.

Orchestra of the Swan Friends’ and Patrons’ Programme

Be involved … play your part

Orchestra of the Swan (Registered Charity no 106857o) thrives on the generosity of its Friends and Patrons. Ticket revenue covers only a fraction of the costs of our projects and performances so we rely on your philanthropy.

Friends and Patrons generously support OOTS concerts, recordings, new work and our Learning & Participation projects for primary, secondary and SEN schools, in care homes and for community groups. Be involved and help us share our music with the widest possible audience.

“My son was certainly inspired to continue playing. As for myself, a music teacher, it has inspired me to start attending concerts again” Audience member, The Thoresby Suite Project, Nottinghamshire

Helping by undertaking the following:

CD Sales

Selling our wonderful selection of CDs as a gift or memento of a special OOTS concert

Programme sellers
We need two programme sellers for every Stratford-upon-Avon concert to ensure that as many audience members as possible buy one of our excellent concert programmes. Outgoing and sociable personality definitely a bonus.

Orchestra Ambassadors
Orchestra ambassadors help others enjoy their evening to the full, handing out fliers for future concerts and answering questions the audience may have. A great opportunity to help others enjoy their evening to the full.

Mailshot Parties

We all enjoy seeing posters for OOTS concerts in shops, waiting rooms and notice boards so if you enjoy a walk and can help distribute posters around the town, your village… please let us know.
