Sandy Holt
Media & PR – Stratford-upon-Avon
As one of Orchestra of the Swan's Media and PR Managers, Sandy focuses on maintaining and developing the orchestra‚s local profile.
Born in Warwickshire, she spent five years training in the performing arts and is a graduate of the University of Exeter, having read English and Theatre Studies. After graduating, Sandy embarked on a career in journalism and during the past 20 years has not only worked for local and national publications, but also had a spell working in PR and publications for both Thames Valley and Warwickshire police forces.
Four years ago she decided to focus on what she loved 'the Arts' and now works as a freelance writer in media and PR. She has an in-depth understanding of the local arts scene as she also holds the post of Arts Editor for the Stratford Herald, and works or has worked for numerous local arts venues, theatre companies and other organisations, including the Civic Hall in Stratford-upon-Avon and the Chipping Campden Music Festival.
From a musical point of view, she believes music should be accessible to all and strongly supports the orchestra's ethos in breaking down barriers.
