Howard Marshall
Chairman
Howard Cleveley Marshall has a lifelong involvement in music; in fact he started his professional career as a violinist before choosing a career in industry, achieving an Honours degree in mathematics with a post graduate business degree from London Business School.
With early experience in the computing industry Howard has gained industrial experience across a broad range sector, particularly in engineering, including precision components, buildings, boilers and industrial services. During his career he has managed more than sixty companies both in the UK and with interests in France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Australia, the Middle and Far East.
His appointments include Vice-Chairman of the West Midlands CBI, Chairman of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, a Development Trustee of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Member of the governing board of the University of Central England.
His passion for music remains undiminished and he is still a very active chamber musician giving recitals and informal performances. He lives in Worcestershire with his wife Ann. |
