Four Sonnets for Stratford upon Avon
New technology offers tremendous potential to develop a new model for orchestras, creating a far wider audience for our work.
90% of OOTS Facebook fans are under 55 and 90% of our regular audience is over 55, an extraordinary opportunity for audience development.
Our bold and unique vision is to grasp the full potential of new technologies, developing a radical new brand identity through the development of our on-line home, moving from the current model which uses new media to market existing content, to seeing new technology at the heart of the creative and artistic process.
Artistic content
- Virtual residencies:
We will develop virtual residencies in a number of venues which will include streamed rehearsals/concerts, sound installations and CD/video recordings. - On-line artistic content and creative projects
OOTS Digital website and Facebook will host and facilitate creative projects such as Four Sonnets and Lost in Space, encouraging the public to play an active role in creating and delivering artistic content, transforming the traditional relationship between orchestras as performers and audience. - Welcombe Hills Special School
