 This coming season we are delighted to present a fantastic
line-up of music from truly world-class soloists! Our Birmingham season opens on 12 October with Jennifer Pike playing the Mozart Violin Concerto in G. Jennifer is a true musical prodigy having won the BBC Young Musician of the Year title when she was just 12 years old and when she appears with us she is still just 18 years old!
We are also pleased to welcome back cellist Matthew Sharp opening our Stratford series with the light-hearted and virtuosic Shostakovich Cello Concerto.
Next season will also see Diane Clark and Helen Cole playing the Mozart Flute and Harp Concerto and Mark Bebbington playing the romantic and lyrical Ireland Piano Concerto - which OOTS will shortly be recording for our second CD.
We finish the season with Brahms' Symphony no2 and
Tasmin Little performing the Sibelius Violin Concerto.
