Orchestra of Swan is renowned for its outstanding performances of great masterpieces performed with passion, musical insight and accessible presentation.
Following their tradition of innovative programming, this concert begins with the classical elegance of a Mozart Symphony and concludes with a dazzling performance of the much loved Scheherazade - a four movement Symphonic Suite famous for its colourful orchestration and links to the history of Imperial Russia.
The programme also includes a unique collaboration between Orchestra of the Swan and North Wiltshire based Wessex Concert Orchestra with Errollyn Wallen’s Speed Dating for Two Orchestras.
Winner of the 2005 BBC Radio 3 British Composer Awards, Errollyn’s music is renowned for its originality and accessibility.
